In this section we described how you can use precorrection across the tiers. In the next section, we explain how you can determine if precorrection is working to shift student performance. Here we walk through the process of “testing” and provide information on how to measure (a) student performance, (b) the consistency with which precorrection steps are being put in place (treatment integrity), and (c) what stakeholders think about the goals, procedures, and outcomes both before you get started and after things are under way (social validity).
