Step 7: Develop a monitoring plan to determine the effectiveness of the precorrection plan
When implementing any strategy or intervention, it will be important to determine how well it is working. In this case, it will be important to develop a plan that is practical for the teacher or other adult to use to determine what people think about proposed plan (social validity), if the plan is put in place as planned (treatment integrity), and how well it is working (e.g., maximizing student engagement and/or decreasing disruption). Later in this eBook, we provide additional guidance on how to accomplish this step.
