Step 8: Offer students an opportunity to give feedback on this strategy
After you have had a chance to implement precorrection a few times, it can be helpful to solicit feedback from students regarding what they thought of the strategy. Incorporating student feedback can help to improve the practices that we implement by making them more acceptable. For example, if preschool or elementary-age students expressed that they have trouble remembering how big their “bubble” should be on the rug, the teacher might consider using tape to mark out each student’s space clearly. In secondary schools, teachers can also conduct semi-structured interviews or social validity surveys with their students to get their take on the goals, procedures, and intended outcomes.
